Alsatian apple tart

Creamy apple pie and cinnamon served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Note

It is important to chill the puff pastry before cooking it. This way, you get a crispy pastry and swollen.

For the tart

For the flan

50 Ml
Cream 35%
10 Ml
Calvados

For the chocolate sauce

75 Gr
Dark chocolate
125 Ml
35% cooking cream

Preparation time: 30 min

Preheat your four at 425 °F

  • General preparation

    Peel apples and cut it in four quarter, . Mix the apples in a bowl with half of the sugar and half of the cinnamon.

  • Preparation of the tart

    Cut your half-sheet into four and place them in four individual tart pans. Put the quarters of appel in the dough, and cook it for 20 minutes.

  • Preparation of the flan

    Combine the eggs, cream and Calvados with the rest of the sugar and the rest of the cinnamon and stir until blended.Also divide the mixture into the tart shells.Cook it again for 20 minutes.

  • For the chocolat sauce

    Melt the chocolat and the cream on a bain marie, and keep it on real slow heat on the side.

  • For the plating

    Decorate the plate with chocolate sauce, put the warm tart in the middle and finish with the ice cream.
