It was my first cooking class and first experience with Ateliers & Saveurs. 10/10 for professionalism, explanations and food variety. Chef Iman was very patient, answered all of our questions and made jokes during the whole session. His French charm made the experience even more authentic. This is a great activity for any kind of event. I strongly recommend it for anyone! Beginner or advanced cook, we can all learn something from chef Iman.

I just attended my first cooking class with Iman and it was great. We prepared a magret de canard with polenta, mushrooms and asparagus, and a chocolate cream with peanut butter mousse and caramelized hazelnuts. Iman and his team made a great job at explaining how to do the recipes, emphasizing some cooking tips and techniques that we can use next time we cook something, and the best part was getting to eat everything at the end. The class is very hands on and gives you a chance to develop your skills while enjoying your time. I will definitely consider taking more classes in a future date.

I wanted to try something new. I figured why not see what Ateliers & Saveurs is all about? I decided to choose some dish that I love but had no idea how to make. I chose a night that was teaching how to cook lamb. I was fortunate enough to also be in a workshop that was called Cooking with the Stars! All the benefits are donated to Operation Enfant Soleil Fondation. The guest celebrity was Mathieu Darche (from the Montreal Canadiens). I wasn’t sure what I was in for but I had decided: a, Time to experience something new and b, MUST learn how to cook lamb! Needless to say the Chef/Teacher Rodolfo was Magnificent! He was entertaining, funny, knowledgeable and very talented! I learned new techniques on how to prepare and cut and most importantly, to be open to trying new things (I had Carpaccio for the first time and it was out of this world!). The class was full and everyone was having a great time. We all participated in the cooking and preparing as well as enjoying a glass of wine or two. The ambiance was creative and beautiful! The staff was kind and accommodating. Mathieu Darche (The Star) was truly a star! He was fun, with a great personality and truly involved himself with the group. He was a great sport! The entire experience was and still is something I rave about and I tell anyone who loves food and has a Joy de Vivre how much fun I had! I will definitely be back for a few other workshops and I will bring my husband and friends for a night of learning, laughing, and participation and at the end, a fabulous gourmet dinner that is out of this world! A great experience! What a wonderful concept! We hosted a group/ client event and it was great evening, we couldn't have asked for a better time. Everyone there is so friendly and they are some of the best hosts Montreal... plus they have a good concept, good food and great location. Whether it is a corporate or social event, your group would have a great experience here, I highly recommend it!

Upcoming Visit and the Chef Au Marche course... Just a quick note to say how much I am looking forward to my visit to Montreal next week and now the class that I just confirmed with Arnold! Thank you Arnold for being so very helpful over the phone and your offer to attend the class as I do not speak any French. My sisters and niece are all looking forward to hearing about the class. Our mother was born in Verdun and as a group the 4 sisters and two nieces hope to plan a trip next summer all together. See you next week. Sincerely Victoria
