A creamy, spicy Matane shrimp salad served in a fresh bun, simply delicious!

Note

Put the salad in the buns right before serving.

Shrimp salad

400 Gr
Matane shrimps

Libanese cucumber
1 Sprig(s)
Celery
2 Unit(s)
Green onion
1 Unit(s)
Green apple
1 Tsp
Sriracha sauce
125 Ml
Mayonnaise
1 Unit(s)
Lemon
1 Tsp
Curry powder
2 Sprig(s)
Dill

Bun

12 Small
Brioche

Mayonnaise

Egg yolk
15 Ml
Dijon mustard
125 Ml
Canola oil
1 Tsp
Lemon juice
Creamy Matane shrimp with dill and green apple, brioche bread, lemon |

Preparation time: 45 min

Preheat your oven at 400 °F

  • Set up

    Core and finely dice the cucumber.

    Dice the green apple and celery.

    Chop the green onion.

    Squeeze and zest the lemon.

    Slice the bread in half and brush with melted butter.

  • Mayonnaise

    Place the egg yolk in a bowl, add the mustard and salt to taste.

    Using a stick blender or whisk, gradually blend in the oil. Add the lemon juice.

    Taste and adjust seasoning.

  • Shrimp salad

    In a bowl, mix all the shrimp salad ingredients. Season to taste and keep aside in the fridge.

  • Plating

    Bake the buns in hte oven for 4-5 minutes and fill with a good quantity of shrimp salad. Serve.
