Pork skewers rubbed with cajun spices, roasted potatoes, homemade bbq sauce
A delicious porc skewer, grilled to perfection and accompanied by a home made BBQ sauce.

Preparation time: 25 min
Preheat your BBQ at 500 °F
- Pork skewers
Cut the pork into cubes roughly 4cm. Combine the pork and spice mix in a bowl and make sure it is evenly coated.
Cut the red pepper and onions into 4 cm squares.
Make the skewers by alternating the ingredients. Set aside.
On a preheated BBQ on maximum heat, sear the skewers for roughly 2 minutes on each side. Lower the heat to minimum and finish cooking the skewers until they are cooked through.
- BBQ sauce
Make a smoking pouch by taking a sheet of aluminum foil and placing wood chips inside.
Preheat your BBQ on maximum heat. Place the smoking pouch and wait for it to start smoking.
Smoke the tomatoes, onion and garlic for roughly 10-15 minutes.
Combine all of the ingredients in a sauce pot and cook on medium heat for roughly 30 minutes. Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
