Lemon and crystalized ginger cake

Preheat your four at 338 °F

  • Preparation for the cake

    Take the zests of lemons and cut the ginger in small dice. In a bowl whit an electric mixer, cream the butter and the sugar until the mixture whitens. Add eggs, one by one, and mix well between every addition. Add then the flour and the baking powder to dough and mix until the preparation is homogeneous. With a spoon, add zests and ginger. Pour into a loaf pan beforehand buttered. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Let cool completely.
