Honey and soy sauce marinated fresh salmon and pineapple skewers

A sweet and salty salmon skewer, based on fresh salmon and pineapple, with honeyand soy sauce marinade.

Honey and soy sauce marinated fresh salmon and pineapple skewers

  • For the preparations

    Put the wood skewers in the cold water, during your preparation time. Cut each salmon pavé in 8 pieces. Peel the pineapple, remove the center and cut it in 32 equal cubes. Roast the sesame seeds in the oven. Peel and shred the Ginger, peel and chop the garlic, sqeeze and strain the lemon juice. In a bowl put the soy sauce, the honey, the lemon juice, the garlic, the ginger and mix it well.

  • For the skewers

    On each skewer stick a piece of pineapple, and a piece of salmon, repeat the same operation 4 times. We want 4 pieces of salmon and 4 pieces of pineapple on each skewers. Put it on a baking tray and brush it with the marinade. Let it seat 30 minutes in the fridge. Start your grill, warm it really well, sear the skewers on the 4 sides, 1 minute per side. Put it on a service plate, and top it with the sesame seeds.
