TENDANCE COCKTAILS
Bombay Sapphire Night
The story of Bombay Sapphire begins in 1761 with Thomas Dakin in Warrington, England, creator of the Warrington Gin. The modern brand, launched in 1987, draws inspiration from this historic recipe and pays tribute to the British Raj in India, as well as to the famous “Star of Bombay” sapphire through its distinctive blue bottle. It is renowned for its vapor-infused blend of 10 botanicals: juniper berries, coriander, licorice, almonds, lemon peel, orris root, angelica, grains of paradise, cubeb berries, and cassia bark.
In 1950, the name “Bombay” was used for exports to the United States, taking advantage of the growing popularity of the Martini.
